The Pousada de Condeixa-a-Nova - Pousada do Santa Cristina is close to the Lisbon-Oporto motorway, near the historical university city of Coimbra and only 2 Km from Conímbriga which is one of the best preserved Roman ruins in Europe. The pousada was originally the home of the Almadas Family and dates back to the sixteenth century. In the first half of the nineteenth century it was transformed in an inn an orphanage and old people’s home.

The Pousada has 45 guest rooms: 35 twins and 10 double, which all come well equipped with air conditioning, cable television, a mini bar, bathroom with hair dryer and bath robes, a safety deposit box and direct dial telephone.
